The Bahrain Stock Exchange was recorded during the week ending on August 14, 2025 trades of 5.8 million shares, with a total value of 1.98 million Bahraini dinars, which were implemented through 334 transactions.
Trading included shares of 24 companies, as the prices of 10 companies increased, while the prices of 4 companies decreased, and the rest of the companies maintained their previous closure prices.
The Bahrain General Index rose by 0.04% to 1945.89 points, while the Bahrain Islamic Index increased by 1.07% to 866.92 points.
The money sector topped the trading activity with 64.12% of the total registered value, at a value of 1.27 million dinars, while the telecommunications sector came in second place with 18.26%.
At the corporate level, the National Bank of Bahrain issues the list of companies that are most widely traded with a share of 20.97%, followed by the Bahrain National Holding Company with a share of 15.31%.
The daily average of trading value during the week recorded 395 thousand dinars, while the average amount of shares traded per day was 1.16 million shares, with an average of 67 deals per day.
