A young man was drowned in the Nile River in the village of Al -Nakhila, which is affiliated with the Abu Tig Center in Assiut Governorate, during swimming with his friends.
Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Assiut Security, received a notification from the Najda Operations Room stating that a young man from the village of Al -Nakhilah was drowned in the Abu Tig Center, and immediately the security services and the river rescue forces and ambulances moved to the scene.
On the examination, it was found that the young Hamid Ahmed Sayed Makhlouf, 18, was drowned, and the river rescue forces intensified their efforts to recover the body, a report of the incident was issued and the prosecution took the investigation.
