With the directions of the team, the first corner of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, head of the National Guard, the team, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Director of the National Guard Staff, witnessed the course of the first virtual National Guard exercise, which was carried out by the National Guard units and brigades on Wednesday morning, August 13.
The Director of the National Guard Staff, in the presence of the senior officers, listened to a military briefing on the stages of the exercise and the final preparations for it and the scenarios that included it, in addition to the readiness of the formations and units of the National Guard and their willingness during the emergency circumstances.
The exercise included the imposition of many scenarios used on many sites that fall under the responsibility of the National Guard presidency, in addition to the hypotheses of dealing with crises, cooperation and coordination with the security services in the Kingdom.
The exercise aimed at testing the efficiency of leaders, the pillar and officers in preparation, the sequence of planning procedures, military decision -making, and the application of procedures as required by the operational position and the ability to form to keep pace with the technological development that has occurred on the nature and mechanism of modern war to confront the current circumstances and challenges, in addition to raising the level of training of participants in implementing the exercise stages.
Lieutenant General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Director of Staff of the National Guard, confirmed during his follow -up of the course of the exercise, the National Guard continues to implement the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, may God protect and preserve him, aimed at providing full support for the formations of the National Guard and its military units to meet the operational and administrative requirements in the face of any attempts to tamper with the security of the country and its capabilities His citizens.
At the end of the exercise, the Director of the National Guard Staff met the participants in the exercise, and conveyed to them the greetings of His Highness the President of the National Guard, expressing his pride in the distinguished level, efficiency and professionalism in implementing the course of the exercise and high morale they showed during the exercise.
