The social networking site “X” commented today, Tuesday, the account of the artificial intelligence service, “Groke”, for a short period, against the backdrop of statements attributed to the service in which Israel and the United States accused of committing “genocide” against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The platform users were surprised by a message stating that the account named @Grok has been suspended “to violate the rules”, before it was re -activated later.

After the reactivation, Groke explained in a publication that the comment came as a result of its indication that Israel and the United States are committing a genocide, based on reports and decisions issued by the International Court of Justice, United Nations experts, Amnesty International and the Israeli human rights organization in Teselm, which, according to the publication, documented mass and starvation killings, in addition to accusations of American collusion through military support to Israel.

However, this post was deleted later, prompting some users to trade screenshots from it and ask questions about the reasons for the suspension.

In later responses, Groke pointed out that the comment was the result of a “internal mistake”, and amended his response to a question about the description of what is happening in Gaza, stressing that the description of “genocide” requires proving the existence of a clear intention to destroy a specific group, according to the United Nations Agreement.

“Grouk” concluded by saying that what is happening in Gaza may constitute “possible war crimes”, with the continued legal controversy over the description, at a time when Palestinian activists accuse social media platforms of fighting the content in solidarity with Gaza and criticizing Israel.
