Major General Hisham Abu Al -Nasr, Governor of Assiut, expressed his pride in the distinguished sporting achievement achieved by the heroes of the national project for talent and the Olympic champion in Assiut, after their brilliance in the Arab Judo Club Championship, which was hosted by the covered hall in Burj Al Arab in Alexandria during the period from 8 to 12 August, with the participation of 49 clubs representing 11 Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, Qatar and Libya Iraq, Syria and Yemen, along with Egypt, the organized country.
Assiut will win 5 medals
Assiut players managed to win five various medals by three silver and two bronzes, where the player Shatha Mohamed Ahmed won the silver medal in the weight of 28 kg, and the player Judy Mohamed Al -Tayeb Al -Tayyib is in the weight of 44 kg, and the player Nihal Ali Sabri Al -Silver is in the weight of 57 kg, while the player Mai Osama won the bronze in the weight of 36 kg, and the player Badr Badr Badr Badr 66 kg.
The governor praised the distinguished performance that the players provided during the championship, stressing that the results reflect the quality of technical and administrative preparation, good planning and training, and the spirit of persistence and determination that is distinguished by the youth of the province, as well as congratulating the players and the technical and administrative staff, and the Lieg of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ahmed Sweifi, for this success that raises the name of Egypt high in sports forums.
Major General Hisham Abu Al -Nasr affirmed the continuation of the province’s support for sports talents, and its encouragement to participate in local, continental and international championships, praising the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports headed by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, and its keenness to provide an ideal training environment for talent care, in line with the state’s vision led by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi in promoting exercise as one of the pillars of Egypt Vision 2030 and achieving the goals of sustainable development.
