Eng. Mona Al -Batrawi, Deputy Governor of Cairo for the Eastern Region, conducted an inspection tour to follow up the development of Ibrahim Pasha Street in the Korba area in Heliopolis, in preparation for his conversion to a tourist walkway, in the presence of Eng. Rami Sabry, representative of the National Authority for Civilization Coordination, and Counselor Mohamed Abdel Wahab, head of the neighborhood.

The tour witnessed the start of the implementation of the plan to unify the shape of the shops of shops and coordinate with their owners, in line with the criteria and requirements prepared by the National Agency for Civilization Coordination.
This comes in implementation of the directives of Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, and Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, in the framework of the proposal to develop Ibrahim Pasha and Baghdad streets, which aims to restore the civilizational and aesthetic appearance of the region, and to eliminate negative and random appearances resulting from occupations, in order to ensure the comfort and safety of citizens and facilitate traffic.
The project includes reorganizing occupations, unifying the banners of the shops, renewing real estate facades, implementing agriculture, electricity and lighting work, as well as the establishment of a union for occupants and the inventory of the targeted stores, with the completion of executive drawings in preparation for the start of actual work.
