Representative Abdel -Hakim Al -Shano emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain has established a distinguished national model in the care and empowerment of youth, which made it in the ranks of the leading countries in investing in the energies of youth, noting that the occasion of the International Youth Day this year, which came under the slogan “involving young people in localizing the sustainable development goals”, clearly reflects the central position occupied by young people in development plans and national programs.
Representative Al -Shano explained that the generous care that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, gives to the Bahraini youth, represents a firm strategic direction based on a long -term vision aimed at enabling young people to contribute the active in the path of the country and make its future, by providing an integrated environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, and works to develop scientific capabilities and the process, including It enhances the competitiveness of Bahraini youth in regional and international fields, and qualifies them to lead initiatives and achieve achievements.
He pointed out that the esteemed government, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, continues to translate this royal vision into realistic plans, programs and projects, contributing to opening spacious horizons for young people to work, production and innovation, in line with the requirements of sustainable development and enhances their role as a basic partner in the national economy, and guarantees their effective contribution to achieving Bahrain’s economic vision 2030.
He also praised the pioneering role of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in formulating ambitious youth policies that keep pace with the changes of the times, and the launch of pioneering initiatives that enhance the spirit of leadership and responsibility among young people, and open new paths for creativity in various fields, including human, sports and scientific fields, praising the prominent role of His Highness the Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in developing the sports sector and raising its institutional efficiency, and preparing the infrastructure that enables sports youth to achieve honorable successes, and the representation of Bahrain is the best representation in regional and international forums, which establishes the Kingdom’s presence on the global sports arena.
He stressed that the Bahraini youth have proven, through the leading achievements and initiatives, that on the extent of national responsibility, and that investing in their energies is a strategic necessity to ensure the sustainability of the development and progress process in the Kingdom, stressing the importance of continuing national efforts aimed at embracing talents, supporting innovation, and expanding the horizons of youth participation in formulating the future future of Bahrain.
