Representative Hassan Ibrahim Hassan stressed that the Bahraini youth is a basic pillar in the national renaissance march, pointing to the continuous support and care it enjoys from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, which made the empowerment of young people and enhance their national role is one of the most important priorities of the reform project for his majesty, believing in their ability to innovate and make the future.
He explained in a press statement on the occasion of the celebration of the International Youth Day, which came this year under the slogan “The involvement of young people in localizing the sustainable development goals”, in which the countries of the world celebrate on the twelfth of August every year, that royal support was reflected in the qualitative initiatives and projects that provided Bahraini youth platforms for training, development and cultivation of skills, which enabled them to contribute effectively to the implementation of sustainable development goals.
He praised the prominent role of the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, in adopting clear plans and strategies for empowering young people, by enhancing specific job opportunities, developing education and training, and providing an environment in support of innovative projects, ensuring their effective participation in achieving Bahrain’s economic vision 2030 and the goals of sustainable development.
Representative Hassan Ibrahim Hassan also appreciated the great efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in drawing ambitious youth policies in addition to the initiatives led by His Highness to prepare a leadership generation capable of keeping pace with global changes, engaging in various developmental fields, and reaching national teams to the podiums, praising the continuous achievements It is achieved by the youth of Bahrain, which raised the name of the Kingdom of Bahrain high in various regional and international forums.
He pointed to the important role played by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Public Authority for Sports and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in developing the sports sector and upgrading its levels, as an important part of comprehensive development, through supporting talents, and expanding the sports participation base locally and internationally.
He stressed that Bahraini youth have proven their high efficiency and their ability to creativity in various fields, and represents an invaluable national wealth, and that the continuous efforts to embrace them and provide various forms of support to them are appreciated and proud, and a continuous reflection of investing in young energies in a way that benefits and good for our dear kingdom.
