US President Donald Trump said that the capital, Washington, has become a hostage to the thieves and the homeless, noting that the crime rates in it exceeded those recorded in countries such as Colombia and Mexico.
The US President announced at a press conference today, Monday, that the Capital Police Department was placed under federal control, in an effort to re -impose order and enhance security in the city.
Trump pointed out that he had put security in Washington, DC, under federal control, will contribute to control of crime rates.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump ordered that the displaced people leave Washington, DC, and pledged to treat crime in the city, but the mayor opposed the White House analogy to the American capital in Baghdad in Iraq.
Trump spoke about his plan to make the city safer and beautiful than ever, saying: We want to restore our capital.
For her part, the mayor of Medina, Morel Bawar, said, a democracy: We are not witnessing a rise in crime rates.
