Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, held a meeting to follow up the electrical feeding position for drinking water and sanitation stations in new cities and governorates, through the New Urban Communities Authority and the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sewerage and its subsidiaries, in the presence of the Ministry’s officials.
During the meeting, the minister continued the current position of electrical nutrition for drinking water brooks, water purification stations, cranes, sewage stations and treatment stations, at the level of new cities, as well as the current position of electrical nutrition for drinking water lectures, drinking water purification stations, pharaohs and sewage stations that the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation is managed through 17 subsidiaries in the governorates.
Securing electrical nutrition for all drinking water and sewage stations
In this context, the Minister of Housing directed to work to secure electrical nutrition for all stations, whether drinking water or sanitation, in coordination with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, with the importance of the presence of generators operating in the event of emergency, and he also directed a detailed statement at all stations indicating the position of its electrical nutrition and all the needs necessary at the stations to secure the continued electrical feeding and the needs of each of the generators.
At the end of the meeting, Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny stressed that we are targeting the best operational efficiency for all elements of the drinking water and sanitation system, noting the importance of continuing periodic maintenance work for all stations and securing all their needs.
