Major General Hisham Abu Al -Nasr, Governor of Assiut, stressed the importance of preparing a generation of young people and young people to be ambassadors to raise awareness within their societies, able to transfer awareness messages in various issues, in a way that enhances their intellectual and cultural immunity, noting that these efforts come within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi’s directives, to consolidate the principles of safe use of the Internet, and raise the awareness of young people and parents of the risks associated with global media content, And ways to deal with it with consciousness and wisdom, in order to achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision and sustainable development plans.
Assiut Governor: Preparing a generation of awareness ambassadors to protect young people from wrong intellectual innovations
The Governor explained that the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Assiut, headed by Ahmed Swaifi, the undersecretary of the ministry, organized an expanded awareness meeting at the Abnoub Youth Center, within the activities of the Shield Program .. It protects and text, with the participation of more than 70 young people. The meeting included a acquaintance session between the participants, followed by workshops and lectures organized by the Department of Youth Development in the Directorate, and led by the ambassadors of the program in the governorate, Malik, Nour, Farouk, Mustafa, Hams, with the aim of directing young people towards the positive use of the media and social communication.
Abu Al -Nasr added that the program aims to confront the exotic intellectual innovations that may be broadcast through some satellite channels and content platforms such as Disney and Netflix, which contradict the culture and values of Egyptian society, and promote dangerous behaviors of young people, including promoting homosexuality, incitement to aggressive and suicide behavior through electronic games. The program also aims to establish national identity and enhance affiliation with young people, in a way that contributes to the protection of generations Coming from any false ideas.
