The appearance of the “Suhail” star among the Arabs is associated with a number of climatic transformations and natural phenomena that indicate the start of the refraction of the intensity of the heat and the moderation of the atmosphere gradually, as the Arabs say in the past: “If Suhail comes out of the night,” in an indication of the low temperatures during the night hours, and the start of the end of the semester. Suhail star, the second brightest star of the sky after the Yemeni poetry star, is seen on the southeastern horizon before dawn, starting from August 24 in the areas of the center of the Arabian Peninsula, while it appears in the southern regions before the northern.
