Al -Ahly team opens its career in the Premier League competition for the current season 2025/2026, with the match that brings it against its Modern Sport counterpart.
The Cairo International Stadium hosts the match between Al -Ahly and its Modern Sport counterpart in the first round of the Premier League competition.
Al -Ahly, led by the Spanish coach Jose Ribeiro, is seeking to win and seize the three points, in order to achieve a positive start at the beginning of the new season of the Premier League competition.
The Modern Sport match is the first that Al -Ahly is located locally under the leadership of the Spanish coach who took over the red team last June.
Al -Ahly aspires to maintain the Premier League title, which crowned its title last season from the local competition 2024/2025.
Al -Ahly is absent during its upcoming match against its Modern Sport counterpart, many players, headed by Imam Ashour and Marwan Attia, alongside Hussein Al -Shahat and Ahmed Abdel -Qader.
It is also absent from the ranks of Al -Ahly, Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid alongside Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, in addition to Ahmed Abdin and Muhammad Abdullah.
Al -Ahly match date against Modern Sport in the league
The match between Al -Ahly and its Modern Sport teams will start at nine o’clock today, Saturday, at the Cairo International Stadium.
The upcoming match is broadcast, via the On Time Sports Channels Network, the official and exclusive carrier of the Premier League competition, specifically on Time Sports 1.
