The General Authority for Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced that the total number of visitors to the Two Holy Mosques during the month of Muharram for the current year 1447 AH amounted to more than 60 million visitors (60.245,635), amid a system of integrated and varied services provided by the authority, and the participating authorities to serve the guests of Rahman.
The commission stated that the number of worshipers in the Grand Mosque reached 27,531,599 worshipers, of whom 47,823 worshipers are in Hajar Ismail (Al -Hattim), while the number of pilgrims reached 7,857,270 pilgrims.
More than 60 million visitors to the Two Holy Mosques
The commission indicated that the number of worshipers in the Prophet’s Mosque reached 21,576,200 worshipers, of whom 1,122,368 worshipers were in the honorable kindergarten, while the number of those who peace be upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his companions, may God be pleased with them, reached 2,110,375 visitors.
The authority confirmed that it worked to provide the best services at the highest quality standards to facilitate worshipers, pilgrims and visitors, and to provide them with comfort, to perform their worship with ease and reassurance, while seeking to double their efforts and overcome all obstacles, to provide services to the fullest extent, in order to achieve the optimal goal in serving the Two Holy Mosques according to the directives of the Saudi leadership.
