The General Committee supervising the Senate elections in Ismailia Governorate revealed the official results after the completion of the screening and grouping of votes in all the sub -committees in the governorate, amid a remarkable participation of the voters.
According to the official statement, the number of those entitled to vote in Ismailia reached 999,248 voters, while 169,872 voters participated in the vote.
The results of the menus:-
• The correct sounds: 163,482 votes
• Sleeping sounds: 5,820 votes
• Voices that were not elected: 570 votes
Individual results:
• The correct sounds: 161,552 votes
• Sleeping sounds: 8,320 votes
Candidates with the highest votes:
• Majdi Zayed (Candidate of the Homeland Party): 66,087 votes
• Muhammad Ghannam: 34,121 votes
• Ali Saeed Shuaib: 18,601 votes
• Taher Salim: 8,631 votes
• Ramadan Imam: 7,921 votes
• Ahmed Saleh Ibrahim Al -Aydi: 10,258 votes
The rest of the results came as follows:
• Nassar Hassan: 4,605
• Magdy Ashour: 3,420
• Inspiration Nafi: 2,800
• Manar Khaled: 2,002
• Ahmed Ali Shehata: 1,815
• Suhair Hazem: 1,800
The figures indicate the intensification of competition between a number of candidates, with the possibility of a return between some of them, according to what the National Elections Authority will be decided.
