The polling committees in Qaliubiya Governorate witnessed a large alignment of women and girls in front of the electoral committees, to participate in the Senate elections, in a scene that reflects the awareness of Egyptian women of their national role and the importance of their voice in supporting the democratic process.

Women topped the electoral scene from the early hours of the opening of the committees, as they were keen to attend early and regularity in organized queues, in an atmosphere of commitment, discipline and cooperation with the insurance forces and workers in the committees.
A number of women emphasized that their participation comes from their keenness to exercise their constitutional right, and to contribute to the stability of the country by choosing those who represent them under the dome of the Senate, indicating that the Egyptian women were and still are at the heart of every national merit.
For his part, Eng. Ayman Attia, the governor of Qaliubiya, praised the great women’s turnout in the city of Khusous and the rest of the governorate centers, considering that women are always at the forefront of the participants in the national benefits, which was evident in these elections.
The executive and security authorities have secured the committees and facilitated the entry of voters, while providing waiting seats for the elderly and women, and ensuring the flow of the movement within the vicinity of the electoral headquarters.
The electoral process continues until nine in the evening, amid a careful follow -up of the local and central operations rooms, to ensure the progress of the elections in a safe and organized atmosphere.
