Isis Mahmoud, director of the election operations room at the National Council for Women, said that the Egyptian women have proven full awareness of their national role, noting the great demand of women on the committees in the morning, where they were keen to be present and vote as soon as the polls were opened, despite the hot weather and challenges.
National Women: A heavy turnout from women
She added during a telephone conversation on the Extra News channel, that there is a slight decline in arriving during the rest period from the second to four in the afternoon, but the movement quickly active again with the improvement of the atmosphere.
She emphasized that the National Council for Women is permanently focused on raising the awareness of women of the importance of political participation, stressing that the electoral vote of women represents a strong pillar of stability and the continuation of the gains that Egyptian women have achieved in recent years.
While Eng. Abdul -Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, said that the electoral process on the first day of the Senate elections 2025 is running smoothly without any obstacles, noting that the governorate includes 147 sub -committees distributed over the various centers.
Amara explained, during his inspection of the Wadi Al -Queat School Committee, that he visited a number of committees in the Al -Tod Center to check on its readiness, and the rest of the committees will follow up in the centers of Bayadia and Al -Qurna at a later time.
He stressed that the main operations room in the General Court of Preserving continuous communication with all the committees to follow up the progress of the electoral process first -hand, pointing out that all the concerned authorities – of health, ambulance, and civil defense – are fully prepared to provide full support.
