Eng. Khaled Siddiq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Fund, and the Fund leaders, participated in an expanded meeting with Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, and Dr. Khaled Al -Tayeb, Chairman of the Egyptian Endowments Authority, at the headquarters of the Ministry’s General Court.
The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of files of common concern, as the participants stressed the importance of integrating efforts between government agencies, in a way that benefits Egyptian society and supports the state’s plans to improve the quality of life and promote social justice.
The optimal cooperation between the Urban Development Fund and the Endowment Authority to invest the endowment lands and property have also been reviewed in a way that achieves the utmost benefit, taking into account the national vision in maximizing resources and integrating the development goals.
Eng. Khaled Siddiq, Chairman of the Fund, praised the role of the Ministry of Endowments and the Egyptian Endowments Authority in the Department of Endowment Assets according to investment and development foundations, confirming the fund’s aspiration to activate a real partnership with the authority in managing and implementing projects that benefit the community and enhance the status of the endowment as an important developmental tributary.
This cooperation comes within the framework of the commitment of the Urban Development Fund to support the state’s efforts to enhance the benefit of endowment assets and funds, and to achieve national goals in the field of comprehensive development and improve the quality of citizens ’life.
