Counselor Hazem Badawi, Chairman of the National Elections Authority, confirmed that the authority dealt seriously with the rumors that affected the electoral process at home and abroad, noting that the full transparency was the most prominent title in the management of the Senate elections 2025, especially in the stage of voting Egyptians abroad.

Badawi said, during televised statements, that the authority coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to choose 136 electoral headquarters in 117 countries around the world, amid a full security and diplomatic cooperation with those countries to secure the electoral headquarters in light of unstable international conditions.
He added that the commission called on all the media, during a previous conference with representatives of the parties, to investigate accuracy and not to be drawn into false information, stressing that the official website of the authority provides around the clock all the details and procedures related to the electoral process, stressing: “Our slogan is transparency and justice, and we do not hide anything.”
He also pointed out that Egypt is one of the few countries that have a completely independent body that runs the elections, as its board of directors consists of ten judges who are chosen from the judicial bodies without any interference from the executive authority, which guarantees the independence and absolute impartiality.
With regard to supervision, Badawi explained that nine international organizations, twenty credit embassies, and 168 international media are following the elections, pointing out that Egypt allows the follow -up of the entire stages of the electoral process from voting until sorting, whether in the sub -committees.
Badawi concluded his speech by emphasizing that the Egyptian judge does not know the courtesy, and that the National Elections Authority exercises its work with responsibility and honesty: “We are responsible for the elections before God and in front of the people.”
