The Ministry of Health and Population has announced the provision of 27 million and 246 thousand and 923 free medical services, in just 18 days, since the start of the third edition of the “100 Health Days” campaign, which started on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the framework of working to improve health services provided to citizens throughout the Republic.
The campaign comes in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, and his affirmation of the importance of strengthening national health initiatives, and activating its role in raising the efficiency of the health system and achieving comprehensive health coverage.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the campaign presented the day before yesterday, Friday, 504 thousand and 745 free medical services, noting that the campaign provides its services with the participation of 12 different sectors, as each sector had an integral role in implementing the campaign and achieving its health and development goals, and according to this cooperation, the campaign presented about 104 thousand and 280 services through the basic care sector and organization Family.
“Abdul Ghaffar” said that the “100 Health Days” campaign provided 180 thousand and 435 services through the therapeutic care sector, in addition to providing 43 thousand and 178 services within the presidential initiatives for public health, and the preventive medicine sector provided 7 thousand and 752 services.
“Abdul Ghaffar” pointed out that the campaign provided 21 thousand and 216 services through the units of the General Authority of Hospitals and Educational Institutes, while the initiative to support mental health “Your Health Happiness” provided 9 thousand and 168 services, and the campaign also provided 21 thousand and 385 services through the hospitals of the General Authority for Health Insurance.
“Abdul Ghaffar” added that the ambulance authority provided 4 thousand and 778 emergency services, while 53 thousand and 795 services were provided through the hospitals of the Municipality of the Specialized Medical Centers, while the hospitals of the medical institution provided 5 thousand and 154 services.
And “Abdul Ghaffar” continued that the “100 Health Days” campaign provided awareness and health education services to 53 thousand and 604 citizens, through community communication teams deployed in public areas, clubs, and commercial centers (malls) in various governorates, with the aim of raising health awareness and directing citizens to benefit from the services provided by the campaign, as well as organizing educational seminars and various awareness activities.
