Aswan University, headed by Dr. Luay Saad Eddin Nusrat, Acting President of the University, has announced the start of receiving applications for candidacy for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Law, as of Sunday, August 3 to Saturday, August 10, 2025, according to the rules governing the selection of university leaders, and in a way that enhances the criteria for governance and transparency within higher education institutions.
Choosing efficient academic leaders
Dr. Louay Saad Eddin Nusrat explained that the university is moving in a clear pace towards the choice of efficient academic leaders, capable of creating a qualitative shift in institutional performance within colleges, noting that the door for progress is open to professors working at the Faculty of Law from those who meet the conditions, and that the reception of requests will take place through the office of the President of the University at the Sahara headquarters, during official working hours from nine in the morning until three in the afternoon.
Nasr stressed that the university is keen to choose an academic personality that possesses an integrated development plan, awareness of the challenges of the stage, and the ability to enhance the scientific and research role of the college, and put the student’s interest in the forefront of priorities, in a way that contributes to supporting the university’s directions towards academic excellence and institutional accreditation.
According to the declared schedule, the initial list of candidates will be announced on Sunday, August 10, followed by the opening of the appeals for two days 11 and 12 August, with the final list to be announced on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
Candidacy documents include: A request in the name of the President of the University, a statement of a modern job case, an integrated autobiography, a strategic plan for the development of the college, a legal certificate from legal affairs, a copy of the national ID card, in addition to 6 modern personal photos.
The Acting President of the University concluded his statement by inviting the faculty members at the Faculty of Law to participate effectively in this step, which reflects the spirit of transparency and academic competition, in order to achieve administrative stability and enhance the development climate within the college.
