Major General Abdel Hamid Esmat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in the governorates of the channel, announced today, Saturday, the completion of all preparations in the governorates of (Suez, Ismailia, and Port Said), in coordination with the various executive bodies, the period of the Senate elections scheduled for the next Monday and Tuesday in order to ensure the readiness of the infrastructure and follow -up of the field conditions first -hand during the election period.
The action plan includes a comprehensive cleansing of the identical and the drainage points surrounding the squares and the headquarters of the electoral committees

The Chairman of the Board of Water and Sanitation in the governorates of the Canal stressed the raising of the degree of readiness in all sectors and regions in the governorates of “Suez, Ismailia, and Port Said”, and mandating maintenance and emergency teams to the field presence in the vicinity of schools throughout the election period, to ensure the speed of dealing with any emergency breakdowns, and securing all electoral committees with water, in conjunction with the hot wave and high temperatures.
Major General Abdel Hamid Esmat added that the sewage teams and wiping vehicles were equipped to work with the system of rods for 24 hours, in addition to the continuation of the work of the smooth and purification of all major and branch sewage networks and lines, to secure and integrate the environment of the committees, within the framework of the company’s keenness to support state institutions and participate in the success of this important constitutional entitlement, and to ensure the provision of a safe and prepared environment in front of citizens during their votes.
Major General Abdel Hamid Esmat, the company’s main operations room to work around the clock, with full coordination with the provincial operations rooms and neighborhoods and the competent authorities to receive any emergency reports, and allocate emergency teams for each neighborhood at the level of the canal governorates to ensure the speed of response in addition to providing suction cars and ready -made allowances to deal with any emergency, through emergency departments.
