Minister of Youth: The importance of continuing to invest in young national energies for a brighter future

Mrs. Rowan bint Naguib Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, emphasized that the advisory vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, constitutes an inspiring lighthouse for youth towards continuing creativity and active participation of a more advanced stage in investing promising national energies, which is clearly embodied during his majesty visit to the city of Youth 2030, which reflects the depth of faith in the role of youth as partners Formulating a brighter and prosperous future.

The Minister of Youth Affairs also pointed to the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, which represents a pivotal pillar in accelerating the pace of youth development work, by adopting innovative initiatives that enhance young people’s readiness for the requirements of the next stage.

This came during a field visit by its happiness to the youth of 2030, accompanied by a number of ministers and officials, where they were briefed on the most prominent programs and activities included in the city, and its role in developing youth skills and developing their capabilities in line with the priorities of comprehensive development.

The Minister of Youth Affairs pointed to the qualitative support from His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, which establishes a fertile environment that beats with passion and ambition, and unleashes the ideas of youth and their abilities in the fields of excellence, creativity and initiative, adding that this support was reflected in the outputs of the youth city of 2030, which represents an active national platform to rehabilitate young Bahraini competencies, through training programs Keeping up development requirements and enhancing young people’s readiness for active participation in various sectors.

The visit was witnessed by Mr. Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, and Dr. Jalila bint Al -Sayed Jawad Hassan Jawad, Minister of Health, Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al -Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Mrs. Fatima bint Jaafar Al -Serafi, Minister of Tourism, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al -Nuaimi, Minister of Information, Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Osama bin Saleh Al -Alawi, Minister of Social Development.

The Minister of Youth Affairs expressed her appreciation for the visit of ministers and officials to the youth of 2030, and their keenness to support the youth and initiatives that enhance their role in society, stressing that the visit reflects the interest that young people receive in the Kingdom of Bahrain; This constitutes a strong motivation for them to continue giving and active participation in building the present and future of the country, noting at the same time the efforts of the various parties in supporting the initiatives that invest in national energies, and contribute to drawing a brighter future.

The tour included a visit to the various city centers, which varies between leadership and entrepreneurship, media and entertainment, arts and culture, science and technology, sports and health. The attendees were also briefed on the most prominent initiatives and projects managed by the participating youth, in the embodiment of the spirit of innovation and social responsibility.

For their part, the ministers and officials praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in continuing to empower Bahraini youth and develop their capabilities in various fields, stressing that “Youth City 2030” is one of the leading national initiatives that keep pace with the aspirations of youth, and contribute to preparing them for the labor market through qualitative programs that combine practical training and vocational rehabilitation, stressing the importance of continuing the initiatives and programs that contribute to investing Bahraini youth cards, as they are The main pillar of sustainable development, innovation and future leadership.
