The Transport Authority – Ajman recorded 52,078 requests for taxis during the first half of 2025, through various reservation channels, compared to 54,539 applications during the same period in 2024. Statistics showed a remarkable improvement in the demand for the smart application (Rut), where the number of trips executed through the application reached 23,243 trips in the first half of 2025, compared to 15,987 trips in the first half of 2024, with a growth rate of about 45.4%, which reflects the increasing confidence of customers of digital services and the ease of use of the application.
