The Emirati club Sharjah has officially announced its contract with Albanian striker Ri Manaj from the Turkish Sivaspur, in a free transfer deal that extends for two seasons, to continue the veteran player in the Gulf stadiums after multiple European stations.
The first Manaj stations between Italy and America
Rey Manaj was born in 1997 in the Albanian city of Luceji, and moved to Italy at an early age, where he started his football career when he was eleven years old with Batcheneza Club. He went through two incomplete experiences with the Milan and Atlanta academies, before moving to Karimonise, and from it to Sampdoria on loan.
Although the loan contract includes a clause that allows Sambed to buy it for 300,000 euros, the club’s change prevented the item from activating. Then Sampdoria tried to contract him, but the demands of his American club disrupted the deal.
European Manage experiences end in the Emirates
Manaj began his first official appearance in the elite with Inter Milan between 2015 and 2018, with a cash for several clubs, including Pescara, Pisa, and Granada, before he traveled in Spanish Albasi from 2018 to 2020.
Later, he joined Barcelona where he played for the reserve team, before he died to the Italian Space. In 2022, he moved to Watford English for one season, then he had an experience with the Turkish Sivaspur that lasted until the summer of 2025, then becoming a player in the ranks of Sharjah Emirati.
What is expected from Manaj in the UAE league?
Manaj joins Sharjah as a striker with extensive experience in various European championships, making him one of the names nominated to provide the offensive addition to the team during the new season. The management of the Emirati club is explaining its experiences in promoting offensive strength, especially since Manaj has previously experienced experiences in Italian, Spanish, English and Turkish leagues.
