Sharjah’s Prevention and Safety Authority continues its efforts to consolidate the culture of prevention through the “Safety Officers” project, which is one of the most prominent programs of the authority, and is part of its services system under the umbrella of the Sharjah System for Occupational Safety and Health. The project aims to qualify and train cadres specialized in the field of safety, and contributes to raising awareness levels and enhancing safe behaviors in work sites, within a comprehensive vision that seeks to build a safe and sustainable society. Since its inception, the project has received wide attention and increasing demand, as the number of registered in the program has reached 325 since the start.
