The US Geological Survey revealed that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 19.3 km and about 136 km from Petrobavlofksk-Kamchatky, the capital of the Kamchatka region.

On Wednesday, the Mexican government ordered the Civil Protection Service to remove the population from the coastal areas overlooking the Pacific Ocean, due to the risk of exposure to Tsunami as a result of the earthquake of the Russian Kamchatka Peninsula.

The Mexican Navy said in a statement that it is expecting “strong currents at the entrances to the ports” extending along the western coast of the country of Bacha California (north) to Chapas (south).

In addition, the Russian Ministry of Emergency announced that the tsunami waves caused floods in the city of Seviro-Corlakesk in the north of the Korel Islands. “We have postponed all workers and employees,” said a spokesman for “Tebco”.

For his part, the American “American Warning Center” issued a warning of “dangerous waves” that are more than 3 meters in the next three hours along some coasts of Russia, Japan, Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington and other areas of the Pacific Ocean.

Honollo’s Emergency Administration called for the evacuation of some coastal areas in Hawaii, and the sirens of warning to warn of a tsunami were seated amid calls to the population to move to higher areas.

In him, the Minister of Emergency, Camchatka Sergey Leipidv, reported a tsunami registration with a height of waves between three and four meters in parts of the region. He said in a video posted on social media: “Everyone should stay away from the waves.”

In the development, the ruler of Sakhin Valerie Limarinco said to Telegram that an evacuation order was announced to the small town of Severo Corelilsk after a warning of a tsunami after the earthquake.

The authorities in the Camchatka Peninsula announced that the earthquake caused a number of wounded, appealing to the residents to stay away from the coastal areas, due to the risk of being exposed to Tsunami.

“I urge everyone to stay away from the coast in the threatened areas of Tsunami, and to listen to ads that are made through sound enlargements,” wrote the governor of Kamchatka, Vladimir Soludov, in a post on the Telegram application.
