The Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi launched the “Pioneers of the House” program for senior citizens, a program that includes a comprehensive health examination package for the elderly, in cooperation with the Family Development Corporation, as this qualitative initiative comes as an embodiment of the values of community giving and in order to provide advanced health services that reflect the appreciation of this category. The new medical package provides integrated checks, covering the most prominent specialties associated with age, including the evaluation of heart health and detection of bone and joint diseases, as well as follow -up of endocrine diseases such as diabetes and thyroid disorders.
