The Arab basketball championship competitions, held in the Khalifa Sports City Hall in the Kingdom of Bahrain, witnessed a high -level official presence, presented by Sheikh Issa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice -President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, who followed an aspect of the matches of the championship, amid a distinctive enthusiastic and mass atmosphere.
The competitions were also attended by His Excellency Mr. Ismail Al -Qarqawi, President of the Arab and Emirati Basketball Federation, along with Mr. Dhari Burjas Al -Hawila, President of the Kuwaiti Basketball Federation, and Mr. Abdullatif Al -Fardan, Vice President of the UAE Basketball Federation, in the context of their follow -up to the start of the championship and their support for the teams of their countries, and emphasizing the importance of the event in promoting Arab sporting relations and developing the level of the game regionally.
The official attendance interacted with the matches, which included strong confrontations that brought together the teams of Algeria and Qatar, Tunisia, the Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt, where the guests praised the distinguished organization that Bahrain provides to the championship, appreciating the efforts of the Bahrain Basketball Federation and the organizing committee in directing the event in an honorable manner that reflects the Kingdom’s position in the field of hosting continental and Arab championships.
The championship competitions continue amid public and media anticipation, with the participation of a group of Arab teams aspiring to crown the title, amid an atmosphere of honorable competition and professional organization.
