Maryam Majid bin Thania, the second deputy head of the Federal National Council, President of the Parliamentary Women Forum in the Parliament of the Mediterranean, confirmed that the UAE represents a leading model in empowering women at the level of the region, thanks to its supportive policies and legislation that contributed to enhancing women’s participation in various areas of public life, and enabled them to reach leadership and legislative centers, which made the Emirati experience a regional and international inspiration.
