The third round of the political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus in Nicosia, headed by Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations, and His Excellency Mrs. Thicalia Salina Shampos, Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and the Special Representative of the Republic of Cyprus for religious freedoms and protection of minorities in the Middle East.
During the meeting, the two sides emphasized their commitment to enhance the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields, including political, economic and cultural fields, and to upgrade them towards wider levels in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. The current regional and international developments and developments have also been discussed and the coordination of positions on issues of common concern.
