The Directorate of Supply in Beni Suef Governorate launched extensive control campaigns on markets and shops, in implementation of the directives of Eng. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, in the context of efforts to control markets and confront food violations.
The campaigns led by internal trade departments, Baba, Nasser and East Beni Suef centers resulted in the seizure of large quantities of unknown food commodities and not suitable for consumption, in addition to thwarting an attempt to sell quantities of diesel on the black market.
Under the supervision of Ahmed Hosni, the Internal Trade Department managed to seize 720 boxes of unknown cigarettes, while the Baba Supply Department, headed by Ahmed Samir, seized half a ton of unknown source rice, and 65 kilograms of corrupt turkey, in addition to 150 boxes of unknown source cigarettes.
Within the east of Beni Suef, the administration, led by Ahmed Abdel Salam, seized half a ton of luxurious flour and a half tons of pasta, both of whom are unknown, while the Nasser Center Call Department, under the direction of Mohamed Abdel -Aal, managed to seize a car loaded with 1500 liters of Solar before selling it on the black market.
The necessary legal measures were taken against all violators, seizures, and the public prosecutor was presented to conduct investigations.
