The Bahraini Red Crescent Society, within the activities of the summer program for diabetic children, organized an educational training workshop on the basic first aid allocated to children, in the context of continuous cooperation and coordination with the Bahraini Diabetes Association; The workshop aimed to enhance health awareness and prevent children with diabetes, and provide them with the knowledge necessary to deal with emergency cases efficiently and effectively.
And supervised the preparation and implementation of the workshop, Mr. Fatima Abdullah Abdul Rahman, Chairman of the Association’s First Aid Committee, in cooperation with a distinguished team of Bahraini Red Crescent coaches; Professor Mohamed Ashour, Professor Afaf Bojiri and Professor Jamal Salem included them, accompanied by Dr. Fatima Mohamed, which enriched the training content and provided an integrated educational experience for the participating children.
The workshop also witnessed the attendance and supervision of Dr. Maryam Al -Hajri, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Red Crescent Society, which stressed the importance of the continuation of such important awareness initiatives and joint programs that serve different groups of society, especially children with chronic diseases, and contribute to building a more awareness generation and ability to care for their health.
The workshop was distinguished by an interactive and simple style that is appropriate to the target age group, where basic emergency information was provided through practical and attractive and attractive activities; This approach contributed to enhancing children’s ability to properly behave in emergency situations, and instill confidence for them to deal with any emergency cases that you may face.
