The village of Zanara, which is affiliated with the Tala Center in Menoufia Governorate, witnessed a new fracture in a 4 -inch water line, which caused water to be interrupted by a number of streets and areas in the village, for the second time in just 10 days, amid a state of resentment among the people.
Complaints
A number of villagers circulated complaints on social media, during which they expressed their dissatisfaction with the repeated breakdowns of water lines, holding the sewage contractor responsible for the repeated fracture due to what they described as mismanagement and supervision, calling on the drinking water and sanitation company to tighten control and follow -up on the ongoing work in the village.

A source in the drinking water and sewage company in Menoufia explained to Cairo 24 that the new fracture occurred in a 4 -inch line, which differs from the fracture that occurred about ten days ago on last Friday, and it took nearly 15 hours to repair, stressing that maintenance and emergency teams moved immediately to the holidays site, and currently work to complete the repair work, in preparation for the re -pumping of water to the affected areas, within a short period of time
The source pointed out that the company is following the situation, moment by moment, to ensure that such faults are not repeated, and reduce their impact on the people.
