Our national team qualified for the final match of the West Asian Volleyball Championship competitions held in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from 19 to 26 July, after defeating its Saudi counterpart with a result of three runs without one run (26-28, 25-16, 25-22 and 25-22) in the meeting that brought them together in the semi-finals of the championship at the Issa bin Rashid hall in Isa Sports City.
The victory was not easy for our team, which faced a difficult competitor during most of the match, as Al -Ahmar was lost in the first half, during which the competition was at its height between both parties, which is the first half that our team loses throughout its matches in the championship.
While the red men regained their recovery in the second half, and they succeeded in achieving a great victory, they were used by the Saudi national team’s performance significantly, which was unexpected, which gave the motive for our team to achieve victory in the third and fourth half.
The victory of Al -Ahmar plane was not easy in the third and fourth half, amid great competition with the Saudi green until the last points of the half, so that our team will decide the match and qualify to face Qatar in the final match on Saturday.
