In Madrid, the National Antiquities Museum, in Madrid, displays one of the rare funerary pieces dating back to the nineteenth family of the modern state, a private Oshavi fund for a person named Khabekhent, a resident of the city’s monastery, the famous society that included the elite workers and artists assigned to build the graves of kings in the Valley of the Kings.

The box is characterized by a distinctive architectural design, as it takes its double circular shape, which is believed to mimic the double cabin design for the lower Egypt, known for its domestic arches and high walls, and this shape not only reflects high -end artistic taste, but also the deep symbolic dimension associated with the religious and funeral belief in ancient Egypt.

The box was decorated with multiple motifs, the most important of which are fake doors that were drawn on three of its four sides, in a symbolic reference to the doors of the other world, while on the front end, two characters appear in the form of a mummy, wearing an artificial beard and a trilogy pair, with a perfume cone over the head, and a narrow cloak decorated with geometric motifs, accompanied by a Heruglifi text of a funeral character.

This piece represents a unique mix of art, religion and daily life in the city monastery, and reflects the social and religious status of its owner, as it is a living witness to the established beliefs that the ancient Egyptians were carrying around the other world and preparing for it.
