The Qatari team reserved the first qualification card to the final match after defeating its Omani counterpart with a result of three runs without a fee (25-18, 25-19 and 25-20), in the meeting that brought them together in the semi-final of the West Asian Volleyball Championships held in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from 19 to 26 July, at the Isa Bin Rashid Hall in Isa Sports City.
Al -Annabi achieved his second victory over his Omani counterpart in the tournament and the same result, as the Qatari team was the best throughout the course of the game, with a clear offensive and defensive superiority of the winner during this confrontation.
While the Omani team did not appear at the expected level, and occurred in many mistakes that gave the opportunity to its opponent to advance the result during the runs, in addition to the ineffectiveness of the walls in the face of Qatar’s attempts during this confrontation.
The match also witnessed the player of Amman Ahmed Al -Tobi suffered a knee level in the third half of the meeting, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital due to the severe pain that he had.
