The General Union of Dentists in Egypt congratulated high school students on the occasion of announcing the result, wishing them continued success in their upcoming steps towards university education.
The Syndicate announced the launch of a new awareness media campaign under the slogan “Think before it was decided”, targeting high school students and their parents, in conjunction with the start of the coordination season for the academic year 2025-2026.

The union said in a statement that the campaign aims to clarify the full image of studying in the colleges of dental medicine, by providing a full and simple explanation of the current challenges facing the profession in Egypt, with a focus on the points that must be taken into account before making the decision to join the college.
The union explained that one of the most prominent of these challenges:
- The large and unprecedented increase in the numbers of graduates of dental colleges in Egypt.
- The limited graduate opportunities available.
- The unclear position to assign dentists in the government sector.
- Severe competition in the private labor market.
- The obstacles facing those wishing to travel and work abroad.
The union emphasized that its campaign is based on documented numbers and statistics previously discussed with the ministries of higher education, health and population, noting that the aim of the campaign is not to discourage students ’determination or distract them from studying dentistry, but rather arming them with accurate information to enable them to make a decision based on full awareness and knowledge.
The statement added: “We are keen on the future of our student children, and we see that transparency and frankness are a necessity in light of the current reality of the profession … We believe that the studied decision is the first step towards success.”
At the conclusion of the statement, the General Syndicate of Dentists stressed that all dental colleges in Egypt offer advanced scientific curricula, equipped with the latest laboratories and facilities, and annually receive numbers of students from different countries wishing to study dentistry in Egypt, which reflects regional and Arab confidence in the country’s level of medical education.
