Dr. Youssef Abdel Karim Bojiri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Counselor Mohamed Ali Al Shehhi, Chairman of the Arab Charter for Human Rights, in the presence of Ambassador Nawar Abdullah Al Mutawa, Advisor to Human Rights and Committee, on the sidelines of the fifty -sixth session of the Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights, which was held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo. The Counselor Muhammad Ali Al -Shehhi, on the occasion of his election as Chairman of the Committee, wishing him success in leading the work of the committee and enhancing its role in protecting human rights at the Arab level, in accordance with the provisions of the Arab Charter for Human Rights. The field, and to emphasize the importance of working within a unified Arab vision, based on respecting the sovereignty of countries and their national privacy, while adhering to the basic principles of human dignity, and upgrading the levels of compliance with the agreed standards within the framework of the Arab League. In this context, Dr. Youssef Bogiri stressed the importance of strengthening the role of the Charter Committee in promoting the provisions of the Arab Charter for Human Rights and spreading awareness of it, as a basic Arab reference in the field of human rights.
