The American embassy in Syria called on all American citizens in the country to leave immediately, in light of the deteriorating security conditions, while stressing the use of land crossings towards the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The American embassy in Syria invites its citizens to leave for Jordan through open humanitarian corridors
In an official statement, the embassy confirmed that safe humanitarian corridors are still open between the province of As -Suwayda and the capital, Damascus, to the border crossings with Jordan, calling on American nationals to exploit these roads as soon as possible.
Syrian Interior: There is no exchange of detainees yet
In a related context, the official Syrian News Agency confirmed that any exchange of detainees between the Bedouins and armed groups in the Suwayda governorate has not been implemented yet, noting that the negotiations are still continuing between the parties concerned.
The agency stated that some armed groups continue to prevent the entry of medical and food aid provided by the government into the province, which increases the suffering of civilians in light of the existing security tension.
