The latest report of the statistical center of the Gulf Cooperation Council states showed that the GCC countries managed to achieve the 12th goal of sustainable development goals, related to recycling and using dangerous waste, achieving 30% for 2023, indicating that the cumulative number of national reports of the Council in the Basel Convention on the control of dangerous waste reached 87 reports. The remarkable indicators of the report recorded a remarkable positive indication, as the per capita livelihoods decreased by 17.4%, to 1.4 kg per day by the end of 2023, and the amount of waste of the collected living families witnessed a decrease in the last three years after reaching its peak in 2020 at 35.5 million tons,
