In a new development of the crisis of the children of the village of Delja of the Dermawas Center in Minya Governorate, the sixth girl, the only survivor of the death of her five siblings, was transferred today from Egypt’s Free Hospital to Al -Iman General Hospital in Assiut Governorate, after the deterioration of her health.
Medical sources confirmed, in exclusive statements to “Cairo 24”, that the child was receiving treatment inside the Free Egypt Hospital during the past days, but that her health condition witnessed a remarkable decline, which necessitated her transfer to Al -Iman Hospital to provide advanced medical care and follow up her condition within the intensive care unit.
This step comes within the framework of an accurate follow -up of the only remaining health condition of the family, amid a state of sadness and anticipation among the people of the village who followed the painful incident that killed 5 children from the same family during the past days.
Officials of the Ministry of Health and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Assiut and Minya continue the developments of the case, moment by moment, amid intense medical efforts to understand the circumstances of what happened to the family members, and to provide the necessary care to the survivors.
