From Sunday, July 20 to Friday, July 25, 2025, the country is witnessing a noticeable rise in temperatures in most parts, especially in Greater Cairo and North Upper Egypt.
The Meteorological Authority said in its statement, which is expected to record the maximum temperatures on Sunday and Monday, July 21, high numbers, reaching 38 degrees in the north of Upper Egypt, 37 degrees in Greater Cairo, and 32 degrees on the northern coast.
This atmosphere causes a more heat sensation, as a result of high humidity, especially in daytime periods, while winds are active in intermittent periods, which reduces the feeling of temperatures during the night periods and early morning hours.

The meteorology indicated that the atmosphere will be very hot day in the north of the country to the north of Upper Egypt, moderate at night, and intermittent wind activity on Greater Cairo, the northern coasts and the south of the country, in addition to a disturbance in the movement of maritime navigation on the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, where the wind speed reaches 45 km/h and the height of the waves between 2.25 and 2.5 meters.

Greater Cairo: From 37 to 41 degrees.
Northern Coasts: from 31 to 34 degrees.
Upper Egypt: from 43 to 45 degrees.
Weather from Monday to Friday
The atmosphere begins to improve gradually from Monday, July 21, when the hot wave is broken relatively, with a slight decline in temperature, and the atmosphere continues at night.
The Meteorological Authority appeals to the citizens not to expose the sun, especially at peak times from noon to the afternoon, and the need to drink sufficient quantities of water and wear light cotton clothes.
