After his tour by roads and interlocutors in Sheikh Zayed City, Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, made an inspection tour in the new city of October, during which the projects that were implemented in the city were being implemented, including the presidential initiative units, housing for all Egyptians and a water station, accompanied by officials of the Ministry of Housing, the New Urban Communities Authority, and heads of the October Cities Development Development devices and Sheikh Zayed.
At the beginning of the tour of the city, Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny listened to an explanation of the executive position of the city’s housing and services projects, which includes about 151 thousand diverse housing units that were implemented in the city, as well as the position of 83 service buildings and is being implemented in the city that includes “nurseries – schools – health units – stadiums and youth centers – commercial markets – security services – an ambulance point”, and others.
The Minister of Housing also listened to an explanation of the position of the facilities in the new city of October, which includes roads and the position of nutrition with drinking water and sanitation position, along with the position of electricity, communications and agriculture projects.
Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny, the drinking water station and a water tank capacity of 20 thousand cubic meters/day, who serve the projects of the presidential initiative units “housing for all Egyptians” in the west of the airport, the industrial zone and the distinctive housing land area, where the Minister of Housing listened to a detailed explanation of the project, directed to pay attention to maintenance and operation with the highest levels of efficiency to maintain investments and quality of services.
Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny also inspected the presidential initiative project “Housing for all Egyptians”, the sixth stage with a total of 55 thousand housing units, and it is expected that the interim delivery of this stage starts from next October, and he ascended to one of the housing units and was briefed on the level of finishing.
The Minister continued during the visit, the work of the site’s coordination in the project, as well as the business position in the social club project in the region (A) west of the airport in the new city of October, which is held on an area of 100 thousand square meters, whose completion rate reached an advanced stage, and includes many sports and social activities, including: – 2 swimming pools – 5 multiple sports fields – a football field in the stands – a mosque and a commercial center – a social building and a gaming hall.
