More than 120 people have died in Pakistan due to climate -related incidents during the past three weeks, as the country is ready to start the seasonal wind season.
On the developments of the field situation, the National Disaster Management Authority announced the registration of 124 deaths throughout Pakistan since June 26, including 63 children.
The authority explained that about two -thirds of the victims died as a result of the collapse of homes and sudden floods, and drowning has caused more than 10% of the recorded deaths.

In a related context, the Meteorological Authority warned of the possibility of more heavy rains during July and August next, which may lead to high levels of rivers and increase the risk of new floods.
