Engineer Abdel -Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, witnessed yesterday evening the activities of the closing ceremony of a competition in memorizing and intimidating the Holy Quran, in its eleventh session, which was held in the Great Hall in the Youth City in Dodble, amid a large presence of executive, popular and religious leaders and families of the contestants.



6000 contestants from Luxor, Qena and Aswan
Major General Dr. Hisham Al -Shimi, Assistant Secretary General of the Governorate, and Ahmed Hassan, head of the Al -Toud Center and City, and a number of leaders of Al -Azhar and Endowments participated in the celebration, in addition to a distinguished presence of a number of prominent nation scholars.

6 thousand contestants and 60 winners in 6 Quranic branches
The number of participants in this course reached about 6000 contestants and contestants, competing at 6 levels, including:
• Memorizing the Holy Quran completely with intonation (10 winners)
Half of the Holy Quran (10 winners)
• A quarter of the Holy Quran (10 winners)
• The Quranic Reading Branch (10 winners)
• Good Voices Branch (10 winners)
• The Prophet’s Sunnah branch (10 winners)
The jury, conservatives, public figures and participating leaders were also honored.


The ceremony also included honoring a number of executive leaders, including the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Solidarity, Undersecretary of the Luxor Al -Azhar region, and the Director General of Sharia Articles in Al -Azhar.
The concert paragraphs included touching words from the guests, and a distinctive religious chanting paragraph, as well as a documentary video presentation on the history of the competition and its achievements, and valuable material prizes were distributed and Umrah trips to the winners.
