Dr. Nazir Ayyad, the Mufti of the Republic, said that a person is not a commodity that is sold or bought, warning of the phenomenon of profit by promoting the content of public modesty on social media, whether through the person himself, or through a member of his family.

The Mufti of the Republic, in televised statements, stressed that the promotion of any content lacks moral values and affects public modesty is not legally valid, stressing that the gain resulting from this type of content is suspicious, and does not agree with the purposes of Sharia that calls for preserving human dignity and maintaining values.
The Mufti of the Republic explained that the use of social networking sites to express what is going on between husbands and some of them is one of the major sins, stressing that this behavior contradicts what Sharia called for the concealment, chastity and preservation of homes.
Earlier, Dr. Nazir Ayyad indicated that the Ifta House depends on the opinions of specialists in issues that require medical, psychological or social knowledge, noting that the Quranic rule: “Ask the people of dhikr if you do not know” not only the legal scholars, but also includes all the specialists.
He explained that the mufti establishes his fatwa based on what these experts offer, in a framework of cognitive integration and consultation.
The Mufti of the Republic revealed that some issues, especially those related to inheritance, divorce, and complex family issues, are only fatal after the liquid attends the Dar Al Iftaa, and to hear all parties to the conflict, in order to issue an accurate and comprehensive fatwa, while electronic or telephone communication can be satisfied with other issues that do not require this level of details.
The Mufti set an example of “microscopic injection” issues, explaining that the legal ruling on this type of case is based on the scientific evaluation doctors.
