The American National Center launched a warning against a tsunami after an earthquake of 7.2 on the Richter scale, hitting the semi -island of Alaska.
This week, Alaska had been subjected to a strong earthquake of 7.2 on the Richter scale, which prompted the authorities to issue a tsunami warning in the nearby coastal areas.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 40 kilometers, and was felt by residents in large areas of Alaska.
Great seismic activity
The US National Center for Tsunami Warning issued alerts calling on low -districts to move immediately to high areas and follow safety instructions.
The earthquake took place near Sand Point, an area that is witnessing a frequent seismic activity due to its occurrence in the Pacific Fire belt, and called on the authorities to remain informed through official channels and follow safety instructions.
