The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation stressed that there are 5 requirements that must be met to achieve occupational health and safety standards in the facilities on which the conditions apply in the United Arab Emirates, the most prominent of which is the costs of medical care for the worker in accordance with the legislation in force in the country, providing a safe and possible work environment for the worker. The Ministry stated that the requirements for achieving occupational health and safety standards include providing adequate housing from the competent authorities in accordance with the rules, conditions and standards in force in the state, or paying a cash allowance for housing or being covered within the wage, providing the necessary preventive means to protect workers from the dangers of injuries and occupational diseases that may occur during work
