Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, honored 40 imams from the Qalioubia Endowments Directorate, at the Egypt Mosque in the new administrative capital, after passing an intensive scientific course that lasted six months at the Al -Shamkheya Mosque in Benha City in a number of legal and Arab texts, logic sciences, etc.; Similar to national training programs.

The Minister of Awqaf praised the efforts of the participating imams, stressing that they represent a model to be followed in the scientific and legal formation of the imams at the level of the Republic, calling for more diligence in the achievement of legal and Arabic sciences, logic sciences and various other sciences, appreciating the generous initiative launched by Sheikh Yasser Abu Ghayati, Director of the Qalubiya Endowments Directorate, to implement this quality cycle.
The minister also directed all directorates to follow the example of this scientific preparation for the imams in various parts of the Republic, describing the imams as the basis that the ministry is based on in performing its mission.
These specialized scientific courses come within the framework of the Ministry’s interest in raising the scientific and advocacy efficiency of the imams, and its keenness to enable them from the established tools of science that combines various sciences, in a way that contributes to renewing religious discourse, fortifying society from extremist thought, and performing the right of the country, by preparing advocacy cadres that combine scientific rooting and awareness of the issues of the times.
